Serverless High-Concurrency Platform

Challenge

Artimetro required translating a complex, visionary concept into a highly logical and functional digital ecosystem. The goal was to build a specialized social network that generates tangible value for visual artists. To achieve this, we had to engineer a platform capable of running complex data science algorithms and statistical models for automated artwork valuation. Furthermore, we needed to ensure that the underlying serverless infrastructure could seamlessly handle large, unpredictable spikes in concurrent user requests without compromising backend performance or user experience.

This client needed to create a modern social media network for artists and the art community in general. The client believe that a good starting point is the mexican market so has been moving all their operations to this country.

Areas of Expertise

Solution

To bring this platform to life, we engineered a custom, robust architecture utilizing Velo and Node.js. We focused first on structuring the client's complex requirements into a streamlined logical system, ensuring that distinct user roles, artist applications, and community interactions flowed naturally. At the core of the platform, we developed proprietary statistical models to power the transparent valuation engine, giving artists a reliable tool to appraise their work. To guarantee high availability and scale, we optimized the serverless backend to efficiently distribute heavy computational loads and manage massive volumes of user requests. This resulted in a stable, high-performance environment where the art community can thrive without technical limitations.
